ViIla Aurora is one of the largest of the stately villas grouped picturesquely on the hills just above Careggi, and was already documented in the late 14th century as the property of the Macinghi, a noble Florentine family.
Since 1947, this space has housed the Italian Adventist College, founded in 1940 in via Trieste, which offers degree courses in Theology recognized by the Italian State.
