A Protestant Christian denomination formally established in the mid-19th century and present in Italy since the 1930s, the Seventh Day Adventist Church has two places of worship in Florence, one in the city centre, in via Guelfa, the other close to the Careggi hospital. Its ministry also includes education and healthcare.
