Auditorium FLOG in Florence is a multipurpose center established in 1945 as an expression of the post-war will to rebuild. Its name is an acronym for Fondazione Lavoratori Officine Galileo. In addition to sporting events, it is mainly frequented by live music lovers, who come from all over Italy to enjoy its full programme of concerts (about 150 per year, from October to May) primarily showcasing rock, ethnic, independent and contemporary music. Artists such as the Modena City Ramblers and Bobo Rondell are regulars on the stage, which has also hosted music icons like CCCP, remembered for their legendary 1986 concert, and a very young Radiohead, who appeared at FLOG during their 1994 tour.
