It is an enclosed nunnery belonging to the Order of the Carmelite Nuns, housed in Villa il Pino and founded in the 11th century along with the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena de Pazzi. It owes its name to the young saint of the de Pazzi family ( she took holy orders at the age of 16 and died at 40), of whom it still preserves the relics. The perfect place for those in search of a moment’s respite not too far from the city center, or to enjoy a spectacular view ( the nunnery is, in fact, at the top of a steep slope).
