Dating back to the 1960s, this church was built in reinforced concrete (not coincidentally in the years when Pier Luigi Nervi, master of this material, built the Church of the Sacred Heart in Florence) and has an octagonal shape with a central plan, a feature widely used in Byzantine churches. A beautiful bas-relief (Stories of St. Paul), situated under the portico, is the work of Angelo Biancini. Also worthy of the note are the baptismal font and the holy water fonts.
