A strong and bold personality, Silvano Santi (his partisan name was “Pillo” ) had been a leading member of the Florentine resistance movement in his youth. Only a few days after his death ( on January 24, 2019), the people of Florence decided to celebrate him by asking DesX to create a mural on the wall of the Audace Legnaia sports facility in the Isolotto area, just a few hundred meters away from Silvano’s house.
