For a long time, it was church of Isolotto, when the neighbourhood was in its infancy and did not yet have its own parish church. Nestled between the houses in via Palazzo dei Diavoli, the small octagonal oratory with a round dome is a small jewel of Renaissance art and architecture, despite various changes it has undergone over the centuries.
Built shortly after 1450, it was none other than the chapel of the Mannelli family, a wealthy and powerful Florentine family who had built their country house right next to it, which later passed to the Antinori family. It boasts Renaissance frescoes by Paolo Schiavo and a majolica floor by Montemurlo. Inside a tabernacle are the remains of some works attributed to the Master of Signa (dating back to the mid-fifteenth century).
