Fondazione CR Firenze is a foundation with banking origin, a non-profit organization that offers contributions and projects in the territory of Florence and the Metropolitan City. The headquarters are located inside a building designed by architect Giovanni Michelucci. Starting from existing buildings from different eras, Michelucci succeeded in creating a building that today represents a perfect example of modern architecture in Tuscany. The building also houses the Foundation’s art collection, which boasts artworks by the likes of Giotto, Vasari, Giovanni Fattori and Odoardo Borrani. Visits - accessible only by booking with guided tour groups on the days and times indicated on the website - are free of charge.
