It was the first church to be built in Florence after the Second World War. Its name commemorates the proclamation of the dogma of the Assumption of the Virgin. For those who love the art of the late Renaissance, it houses a small gem: the altarpiece of the Immaculate Conception by Bronzino (1572), recently restored with the help of the Friends of Florence foundation.
