It was the first theatre in Scandicci and its origins date back to 1860 when it began as a philharmonic society. Inside it still has works by Macchiaiolo painter Federico Andreotti, and is today a multiplex cinema and a film club. It is supported by the Amici del Cabiria Association, which organizes themed evenings and periodic selections of hard to find films, including milestones in film history.
