Bisarno Castle is a historical building located near the Gavinana district built in the 13th century as a fortress. The castle has undergone numerous renovations over the centuries, but it has retained its unique medieval charm. In the castle’s large garden there are thousand-year-old trees from all over the world, including a 250–300-year-old Turkey oak and plants from the forests of Sumatra and Borneo Island. Today the building hosts cultural events, art exhibitions and recreational activities, offering an evocative space that combines history and culture.
