Institute of the Carmelite Sisters of Our Lady of Carmel ( called also Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters) was founded in the 19th century by Mother Maria Teresa Scrilli for the education and assistance to the needy. In Florence, they live in the Monastery of Santa Teresa, founded in 1630.
