Piazza Massimo d'Azeglio

Piazza Massimo D’Azeglio is a tree-lined square located in the residential area of the 19th-century Mattonaia district. Founded in the second half of the 19th century during the urban extension included in the project for Florence as the capital of Italy, it is characterised by stately mansions and a large public garden with a playground just a few steps away from the city centre.
