Nelson Mandela Forum is the main sports hall in the city of Florence. Opened in 1985 under the name Palasport di Firenze, it changed its name in 2004 in honor of Nelson Mandela. With its covered area of 10,000 square meters, it has a variable capacity of up to 7,500 seats and hosts sporting events, concerts, conferences and shows.
