The façade of this ancient church, which was already mentioned in 1069, bears traces of a 15th century fresco known as The Annunciation to Joachim, and another depicting Saint Christopher attributed to a young Franciabigio. The old apse was destroyed during enlargements in 1877. Inside there is a panel with the Resurrection of Christ (attributed to Alessandro Allori) and a 15th century fresco depicting the Madonna della Misericordia. Also to be seen in the adjacent rooms, are the remains of a green earth fresco of the Last Supper by Stefano di Antonio di Vanni (15th century).
