Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is located in Florence, in piazza Santa Caterina d'Alessandria on the corner of via Enrico Poggi. Founded in the 16th century under the name of Santa Maria della Concezione, it was rebuilt in the 19th century in neoclassical style by the architect Giuseppe Martelli. The façade, unfortunately unfinished, contains two free-standing columns, while the church interior features eight monolithic columns with Corinthian capitals that accentuate its monumentality.
